Finger Paints for Little Artists
It's never too soon for art! Even the youngest artists accompanied by adults can begin with the dermatologically tested finger paints from Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth. You and your children will definitely love creating with them.
Besides the fact that you'll have lots of fun with finger paints, creating with them supports the development of fine motor skills, imagination, color perception, and the development of the child's brain in general. Due to their harmlessness, as mentioned above, finger paints are suitable for children from two years, under adult supervision.
In the packaging, you find six beautiful shades of colors waiting for you and your little artists. It's easy to mix them together, apply, and even wash them off, which will please especially adults. With finger paints, you can paint on various surfaces, from classic paper to wooden boards, walls, etc. Thus it's only up to the parents what they sacrifice for the creation of their children. :)
In case finger paints are new for you, follow our short tutorial.
At the very beginning, we prepare finger paints, a surface, and sponges, which are very practical for applying paints to children's hands. Even though finger paints are washable, we recommend taking an apron or older t-shirt.
Then we can open a paint container and use a sponge to apply it to the fingers. It's good to have a sponge for each color so that the bright shades don't unnecessarily become muddy colors. Another option is to apply a small amount of paint on a small flat plate, where little artists can easily place the whole palm.
And finally comes the most entertaining step for kids, individual creation. After the children finish painting, it's time for adults to help them find some shapes in the picture that resemble something and, together, highlight them with a pencil. Now you can trace the pencil outline with a marker, and the joint work is complete!
